Training and Development
At Desert Fleet-Serv, we believe that a satisfied customer is not good enough, and that’s why we strive to turn our customers into "raving fans" who will keep coming back.
Technicians who apply to a job with Desert Fleet-Serv should have:
- A technical school degree
- At least four years of experience working on class 4-8 trucks
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to be a team player
- High regard for learning
As we want the highest-caliber employees, all of our team members must be willing to achieve the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) master level. We will pay for your training materials and the cost of the test if you pass. Once you pass the test we will put a copy of your certificate on our lobby wall for all of our customers and team members to see.
That being said, we are one of few companies to earn the Blue Seal of Excellence Designation from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). This is a high honor and one that truly distinguishes Desert Fleet-Serv from others in the industry.
